I dreamed of walking down the aisle in a dress like this from the time I was a little girl. When I saw it at Barneys in Beverly Hills, CA, it was as though Vera Wang had designed it just for me — and maybe for you, too. It made me feel like a princess. I had it cleaned immediately after my wedding in 1997 and have had it lovingly preserved in a bridal box ever since. I took it out of the box only to photograph the pictures in this listing where you see it on the hanger (which is why it isn't steamed perfectly in the photos). I love the classic, elegant style, the gorgeous satin fabric, and the wonderful attention to detail — from the satin-covered buttons that go up the back over the zipper to the satin bows that run down the skirt to the end of the train. The dress a size 6, but was taken in before the wedding so the fit is closer to a size 4. The bodice is fitted with elegant stays and a multi-layered tulle skirt. The dress is 56" from the shoulder to the hem. I'm 5'2" and wore 3 1/2" heels. The train is approximately 2' longer than the dress and can be bustled for the reception. There is one small 1" tear in the tulle at the very bottom. Otherwise, it’s in perfect condition. It was a dream to get married in this gorgeous, classic gown. I'm including a photo of the same dress in pink which was featured in a Vera Wang magazine ad.
