I am 5'6, and 140 pounds with a 30" waist. I altered the dress to include a corset back which was a little more forgiving than the 28" waist that are standard for Lillian West size 10 dresses. The dress did not need to be hemmed or bustled as our wedding & reception was tiny and only about 4 hours.
This was my dream dress, and it is perfect for a smaller destination wedding.
