Closeout Isabelle Armstrong

This stunning Isabelle Armstrong fit and flare dress has all the details to be the Bridgerton-esque wedding dress of your dreams with a square neck, low back, bow, and small train. With the large deconstructed bow and cinched pleating over the buttock, the dress boasts feelings of the Regency era and is figure flattering while still giving the elegance of beautiful, classic gown. The dress has a 26" train with an English bustle fastened inside (see pictures for the bustle tied) which adds to the cascading look of the dress. There is also a hook and eye on the right edge of the bow tail to hook it up for dancing. There is an interior corset with boning and additional cups which can be sewn in depending on the look desired. The veil is a cathedral length veil with a ribbon edge which was made at the time of the dress by Isabelle Armstrong in matching ribbon.
This dress was custom fit for a wedding, hand made in New York and never worn. It has been stored indoors in a preservation box and only handled with gloves to ensure the fabric has no stains or oil spots. While never worn, it was professionally cleaned by the preserver and then stored for safe keeping. The straps have not be fully tacked at the bodice allowing for someone with a shorter or longer torso to tack them in the perfect place. There are a few loose threads in the bodice and at the zipper side seam which an alterations person can easily remove.
The preservation box, gloves, and unused cups for lift are included in the sale.
I kept the dress with the intention of wearing it for my wedding one day. However now that I am getting married again, I find the memories associated are not ones I want to carry forward.
