This is the most beautiful and rich-looking dress I've ever seen. The silk-satin material is so luxurious it's one of the first things I loved about it. It's nothing like the typical satin-type wedding dress fabrics you find, this is special.
The asymmetrical pleating detail along the waist and a little below is incredibly flattering. It has a beautiful sweetheart neckline that adds such a feminine touch. It comes with a beautiful satin and crystal belt that accentuates your waist even further and is the perfect accent to the simple and timeless design of the rest of the dress.
It has wonderful built-in support up top so there's no need to wear a bra and it holds you in incredibly! For reference, I was a 34 C when I wore this and nothing came out of place the entire night.
I had the dress customized in several ways that really added to the glamour and beauty of it in my opinion:
- I had fabric functioning covered buttons added all the way down the back.
- I had the beautiful crystal belt sewn into the gown instead of tying it around so that the bow in the back didn't distract from the elegant buttons
- I paid to have them lengthen the train (originally chapel length) a bit just to add a little drama.
- I had them alter the bustle; instead of just attaching at one place, there are several, and it creates a beautiful flowing look that I loved!
I am a true size 4, but I lost a little weight before the wedding so the dress fits closer to a true size 2 now. I promise this dress won't disappoint - it's an absolute dream!
