The Apollo dress by Hailey Page is a beautiful classic dress with youthful and romantic detailing in the skirt. I wore the dress once on my wedding day in October 2017. I had alterations done to the bodice (normally size 0 or 2 with a 34 A bust) and had a 16 point bustle put in - all put one of the points is in great condition which significantly reduces alteration cost. Also, the bustle was created so that each layer tucks under the one above it so that when it is bustled you can't see any of the points and it looks like it was how the dress was made! The color of the dress is a beautiful eggshell white with a luster to it. There are no stains on the dress and it will be professionally cleaned. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline and attractive ruching that accentuates the waist line. There is boning in the bodice that feels great and helps everything stay put while dancing. The skirt is the most special part of this dress - it has the signature hailey page almost tulip like layers. There are three layers of fabric all lined with horsehair edging which makes it keep its beautiful cascading shape and move around easily with you. There are layers of fabric under the skirt that also help keep the ballgown silhouette. Since the fabric is a little heavy, you get the full skirt of a ballgown without it being too poofy. The skirt has a bit of a train to it and as mentioned above, the dress has been altered to be easily bustled post ceremony.
