This dress is absolutely stunning - strapless silk taffeta gown with a romantic sweetheart neckline, shirred bodice and natural waist; the skirt is detailed with hand-pleated taffeta floral embroidery. From Amsale's Blue Label collection, the Dahlia dress is already a classic, but still possesses a modern twist. Above all else, it screams luxe; from the rich ivory fabric to the ornate texture and detailing.
It was a very difficult decision for me to let this gown out of my life, but it was even more painful just letting something so beautiful sit in a box. Another lucky bride should definitely have the opportunity to enjoy this gown at a fraction of the price.
This dress was custom made and upon my first fitting it fit like a glove and required no alterations. The flagship store’s resident seamstress Roula solely added cups in the bust so I did not need to wear a bra. I can honestly say I did not have to pull my dress up once the entire evening and avoided those embarrassing photos where so many brides are caught with their fingers under their armpits pulling at their dress.
The gown has been professionally cleaned and is waiting to find its new home.
