I purchased this dress 8 months before my wedding. To be honest, I think it was slightly aspirational for me. I have a little bit of a tummy and I thought I could work it off before the wedding. However, as the big day approached, I realized that I wasn't going to be comfortable in the dress because I'm self-conscious about this part of my body. Instead of making myself suck in all day, I decided to purchase a more loose-fitting dress at the last minute. The dress is absolutely beautiful and I think the body issues were all in my head, but I felt it was better to be safe than sorry on the big day. I never wore the dress, which remains in the bag post-alterations. The color is listed as Ivory, but it photographs white and looks white in person.
